James Lynton Bain
Cape Town born and bred James has been surfing and windsurfing for three decades. He’s been diving for the last fifteen years and qualified as a commercial diver in 2003. Having started his underwater filming career training under the Emmy award winning South African filmmaker Charles Maxwell, James has gone on to film internationally for clients from the BBC to National Geographic and locally for 7 Films to Orange Films. As a an accomplished waterman, James is also an experienced boat handler and fully qualified off-shore saturation diver.
Lisa Labinjoh
Lisa has been based in Cape Town for the last four years combining her skills in filmmaking and marine consultancy. With marine consultancy and directing credits on the SAFTA award winning Ocean Adventurer and for the BBC Countryfile brand, Lisa's is uniquely skilled to assess and facilitate environmental requirements of aquatic based productions. As well as being an accomplished marine scientist with practical experience on projects across Africa, Lisa is an accomplished camerawoman on both dry land and underwater and also holds a commercial diving and powerboat skipper's licence.
